PCC Cooking Classes
Cooking Under Pressure & Gluten-free Holiday Treats
Cooking Under Pressure
Using a pressure cooker can help conserve energy and time - most recipes are cooked in half the time as on the stovetop! The nutrient content of foods are maintained and the flavors taste like you've been slaving away the entire day. Learn the simple techniques of using a pressure cooker and sample four dishes: Chickpea Tahini Soup with Roasted Red Pepper, Orange and Rosemary Beef Stew, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Orange Ricotta Cheesecake. Classes start Sept 29th.
Gluten-free Holiday Treats
Are you gluten-free or know someone who is? If you're wondering how you're going to get through the holidays, come join me and learn four delicious sweet treats that you can indulge in and share with family and friends: Double Chocolate Cherry Torte, Pumpkin Spice Bread, Jeweled Crispy Bites and Celebration Cookies (with chocolate, nuts, coconut and dried fruit). Classes start November 10th.

You will learn how to be aware of your physical body and state of mind, and how to use this awareness to support yourself to healthy eating and lifestyle habits.
I will provide step-by-step worksheets and exercises to help map out these patterns and reinforce alternative healthy behaviors, as well as helpful templates and charts to guide you through balanced and efficient meal planning.
